Pennsylvania has extensive law and regulation with respect to alcohol. With respect to the sales, consumption, and use of motor vehicles we are all familiar with those laws and regulations.
Spring Gate is responsible to some degree with various laws and regulations, and additionally has some latitude in some specific areas as to what we can do around this legislation and regulation.

Here are some simple policies at Spring Gate
- You must show ID if we require it to buy alcohol
- If you are under 21 you must be accompanied by your parents or legal guardian
- If you are visibly intoxicated, we will not serve you - this is the law, and common sense
- If you do not have ID, and we believe you are under 21 and not accompanied, you are not to be on the property and we will ask you to leave - if you do not immediately leave the property, this will escalate to a security/police matter.
- If somehow have come into possession of alcohol and are under 21 we will confiscate the alcohol from you as you illegally possess it. If you do not surrender it immediately when asked this will become a security/police matter.
- We reserve the right to to picture and video record throughout our private property, and to provide it to security, law enforcement, our legal counsel, our insurers, or the public solely at our discretion.
All of these laws and policies are in place to protect our community at large, they are exercised in the failure of a tiny minority to consider its impact on our larger community. We hope you can understand them in that context.
